shop front security door grey

High security shop entrance door in Devon

We recently fitted this security front entrance door to a music store in sunny Devon, UK. The door was spray painted by us in Farrow and Ball ‘Down Pipe’ which is a dramatic lead grey colour with blue undertones. According to Farrow and Ball:

Originally inspired by the colour used to paint downpipes and guttering, it has been embraced for use inside the home with fanatical zeal! This daringly dark hue is fabulous as a background to art, and extremely effective for use in halls to create a deeply dramatic entrance to the home.

We added polished brass hardware and our security glazing system and we think it looks stunning.

For the price-conscious and for our clients who require supplementary entrance solutions, we provide the Saxon range of doors. To achieve a competitive price point, we have swapped out our signature steel-core for a timber one but kept our sturdy 6 point locking system.

Designers will be glad to know that we also have our door matching service available on the Saxon range, so these will fit in with most interiors. We also supply a strong timber frame and the whole installation can be done by our skilled door fitting team.

Bespoke high security entrance doors with side lights

These bespoke high security double entrance doors were manufactured and installed by us in Hertfordshire. The doors are made from Accoya® with a stained and lacquered finish. These doors have striking routered lines that are stained a darker colour than the door. The door set is inclusive of a full steel frame and security side lights.

The long vertical steel handles help the doors to achieve a contemporary style and make the whole installation extremely easy to use.

Accoya® wood is the result of decades of research and development into wood modification techniques. It uses patented technology called ‘acetylation’ to create a high performance wood that can be used both for indoor or outdoor use. Timber encased 4 panel combo

This external high security front entrance door includes a full steel core that is encased in timber leaving absolutely no steel on show. The intention for all of our doors is to make them look absolutely normal and hide the inner steel core, something our competitors don’t offer. Installed in Richmond, South West London, the door is a flush panel with routered lines.
The internal, bespoke high security bedroom door shown below is a 4 panel ‘raised and fielded’ with polished chrome hardware.
We are happy to quote for single or multiple installations nationwide and can provide you with free advice on protecting your entrance and providing a safe sanctuary with our internal security doors.

Internal and external security doors in Central London

The job was recently completed in the Central London area. This classic external high security door (pictured above) is a shaker style unit with elaborate mouldings. The customer chose a high end sprayed finished in RAL 5011 which we think looks superb.
The internal door (pictured below) is a bespoke high security unit with raised and fielded panels. This was fitted to a bedroom on the same premises and features beading with polished chrome hardware.

Horizontal panelled oak external security door

Fitted recently to a client’s property in Hertfordshire, this stylish horizontal panelled front security door has a rectangular glass inset panel and a contemporary stained oak finish. Notice the matching window frame also installed. All glazed panels use toughened security glass.

We think this door looks great and the long bar handle on the outside finishes the door off a treat!

Sapele hardwood double security door

Here we have some photos of client doors during the manufacturing and fitting progress. These double doors sport a beautiful Sapele finish with a fluted design, and are shown in their pre-lacquered stage and afterwards, fitted to the client’s house.

Sapele is a hardwood that is similar to mahogany and gives a stunning finish. This is a popular choice with customers who choose panelled doors as it accentuates the different grain patterns and brings out the natural beauty of the wood.
